A Fusion of Eras: An Interplay of Color and Styles
2024
Adobe Photoshop
I love art history. I want to use this to show my design on my website. I also have some ideas for using it on a billboard, postcard mailer, and social media. I want to use some colors and styles. I decided to have a variety of colors and styles of what it looks like, which is why the title is An Interplay of Color and Styles.
Birth of Verus images of men and women images were painted by a lady named Sandro Botticelli in 1485.

Inspiration Imagery
This is the moodboard of inspirational imagery that I choose to use as an example that is part of art history.
Typography
I used Gibson for heading on “SAM” Seattle Art Museum. Also, I used A Fusion of Eras: An Interplay of Color and Style font Gibson.
I used Montserrat Medium for the body copy of the information, such as an address, time, date, and location on the design, because it fits as a balance for art history. It is not too heavy. It is natural and balanced.

Color Palette
Birth of Verus” color palette seems to combine a blend of bold, energetic colors with calming, grounding tones. The palette features both warm and cool hues, which can symbolize a balance between vitality and calm, passion and peace. The contrast between dark purple, red, and mauve can signify mystery, power, and strength, while the lighter orange, green, and blue can add warmth, harmony, and serenity.

Original Painting
This is the original of Birth of Vesus, which was painted by Sandro Botticelli in 1485. I decided to color each individual on the painted picture. I like the way it looks! I decided to use this as a campaign, Post card mailer, and Social Media Post because this is great to use as Art History.
Final Digital Painting
This final billboard painting is a vibrant reinterpretation of the classic Birth of Venus, where I’ve added rich colors to each element, enhancing the original artwork. The result is a stunning visual that brings new life to the piece. To ground the design in art history, I chose to represent it with the Seattle Art Museum, reflecting a fusion of eras through a blend of classic and contemporary styles. The focus is on the interplay of color and style, capturing the timeless beauty of Venus while infusing it with modern vibrancy and flair.
Initial Digital
This is original of fish with orange in the water. I just feel that something is missing, because I want something more for this design. The water spill is over the orange and it is not as equal as end to the orange edge. The blue background is too light. I decide to redesign this to improved it better.
After Initial Digital
This is the new original of 2024 that I redesigned. I decided to name it A Fusion of Eras: An Interplay of Color and Styles because I want to do something about color and styles. I used a white font to balance it with color visually. I am using this campaign for SAM, which stands for “Seattle Art Museum.” It looks so gorgeous than before!
Post Card Mailers
This is a post card mailer. It looks so cute on a postcard mailer for anyone to write on. I used opposite colors for the front and back because, for the front, I created purple to make it pop out with fish in orange and water. In the back of the post card mailer, I choose blue following as from birth versus a woman with blue hair to connect visually. I chose a white font that is very readable for the card. It is excellent for anyone to use a post card mailer to write on and mail it out.
