Big fat Hippo is hiding in the water staring at whatever he is looking at. He has pink ear, and light blue on his mouth, head, and nose. He would say let’e get “Wild!!!” meaning let’s get wet! I love water!!

I choose pink font in “Get Wild” that is refferal to the Hippo that make sense of what the posters is all about. Wild Land Safari Park Grand Opening is common that people would look on the website to look up for more informations with tickets informations and where to buy it from.

Inspiration Imagery

This mood board showcases the inspiration behind this page, focusing on the theme of hippos at the zoo. It features a curated collection of imagery that captures the essence of these magnificent creatures in their natural zoo habitat, offering a visual journey into their world. From their majestic presence to their playful interactions, these images embody the unique charm and fascinating nature of hippos.

Typography

Haettenschweiler Regular was perfect for heading for hippo, which I used for the title “Get Wild.” It seems fitting with hippo to make the font fat.

Britannic Bold is an excellent paring for body copy to make it thick and rounded for the head title.

Color Palette

For the Hippo design, I used a warm, natural color palette with dark blue, grey, and black as the base, accented by touches of tand and pink for warmth. A hint of light blue adds depth, creating a balanced and earthy feel that reflects the natural essence of the hippo.

Final Design

For my final Hippo design, I used a thoughtful combination of colors and elements to create balance and harmony. The pink from the hippo’s ear is reflected in the font, tying the design together. The top information on the website is in black font, providing contrast and clarity. To emphasize the hippo’s natural habitat, I incorporated a rectangle shape that blends with the water, suggesting the hippo is partially hidden beneath the surface. This element adds intrigue and visual depth. The title, placed below the head, uses a blue font to complement the hippo's color, balancing the design with two key shades. It’s a creative approach that brings together color, form, and the hippo’s essence in a unique way. Isn’t it cool?
